Send us a photo of your home, and we’ll create a beautiful, laser-engraved slate sign—a heartfelt way to say “Home Sweet Home.” Each sign is crafted from natural slate and comes ready to hang with rustic jute twine, making it the perfect décor piece or gift for housewarmings, anniversaries, or real estate closings.

How It Works

1. Place your order.

2. Email your photo to highcaliberengraving@gmail.com with your High Caliber Engraving order number in the subject line.
   Example: Order #123456 – House Photo

3. We’ll turn your home photo into a detailed line-art design and engrave it directly into the slate (permanent—no vinyl or printing).

Photo Tips (for the best engraving)

• Send a well-lit, high-resolution photo (no harsh shadows or filters).

• Capture the entire house from a straight-on or slightly angled view.

• Want us to remove cars, bins, or wires? Just mention that in your email.

• Multiple photos welcome—we’ll select the clearest one for engraving.

Product Details

• Material: Natural slate; permanent laser engraving (light gray/white etch)

• Finish: Hand-finished with natural, chamfered edges—each piece is unique.
  Chamfering can produce small chips/variation in thickness, color, edge shape, and texture. This is normal and not a defect.

• Hanging: Jute twine included and pre-attached for easy display

• Dimensions: Approximately 7” x 11” (size may vary ± 0.25")

• Use: Indoor or outdoor display (avoid direct heavy rain/freeze)

Personalization

Include notes in your email with the photo:

• Text preference (e.g., “Home Sweet Home,” family name, address, or no text)

• Any remove/keep requests (bushes, numbers, decorations, etc.)
  

(If text is not specified, “Home Sweet Home” will be engraved by default.)

Processing & Shipping

• Engraving begins 3–5 business days after your photo is received.

• Ships carefully packaged and gift-ready.

Care

• For indoor or covered outdoor use.

• Wipe gently with a damp cloth; avoid harsh cleaners.

• Do not submerge in water or place in dishwasher.

Notes

• Slate’s natural color and texture vary—small chips or pits are normal.

• Engraving is not color printing; design appears as a crisp, light etch.

• If your photo quality is low, we’ll contact you before engraving.
